About Williston Park Animal Hospital

Dr. Hardoon received her DVM degree from the University of Illinois in 2006 and worked at several busy small animal hospitals performing exams, seeing emergencies and doing surgery. During this time she found that many of her patients were not benefiting from the traditional diets available and saw the difference that a natural diet made in overall health and resolving chronic disease. She decided to become certified in Acupuncture, Food Therapy and Herbal therapy to better help her patients. Dr. Hardoon completed her training with the renowned Dr. Huisheng Xie of the Chi Institute.

Dr. Hardoon strives to help her patients live their best life using an integrative approach to healthcare. This means examining all aspect of the patient’s life and using multiple health options available for care including nutrition, supplements, essential oils, herbal therapy, laser and acupuncture combined with traditional medicine and surgery as necessary. Dr. Hardoon enjoys spending time with her patients and developing an individualized treatment plan that her patients are comfortable with. She is always focused on the overall health & well-being of her patients.

When not at our hospital Dr. Hardoon enjoys spending time with her family and pets. During her time off, you may find her training or competing in AKC conformation, obedience and rally, or serving as the secretary for the Berkshire Belgian Tervuren Club. She also is an avid gardener, enjoys growing her own herbs and caring for her chickens & saltwater fish.
